The 2015 Social Media Maven Awards

Nearly a decade ago, social media was a small fraction of retailers’ marketing mix. But now, best-in-class retailers are putting social networks at the center of their service, engagement and commerce strategies. For the first year, Retail TouchPoints is honoring brands and retailers that are using social media in innovative ways in their businesses. 

The 2015 Social Media Maven Awards will recognize organizations for their achievements in the social space. Retailers will be recognized based on:

  • Overall social strategy
  • Best use of up-and-coming social channels
  • A specific social campaign
  • The role of social in an omnichannel campaign
  • Social customer service strategies
  • Integration of social media into the store
  • The ability to identify and leverage social advocates
  • Use of social analytics

2015 Retail Innovator Award Nominations

In 2015, Retail TouchPoints will be honoring individual leaders as part of the Retail Innovator Awards program.

Retail Innovators are defined as:

Retail executives and thought leaders who think outside the box to develop and foster innovative concepts and strategies that help move the overall retail industry forward.

We invite you to nominate a retail innovator for this award. Award recipients may include:

  • Retail company executives;
  • Bloggers/authors; and/or
  • Industry association executives.

Additional criteria will encompass some or all of the following three areas (please be as descriptive as possible in each response):

  1. Emerging retail area the executive helped to advance.
  2. Specific innovative retail strategy or idea conceptualized and/or launched.
  3. Business results or positive outcomes, or expected results, following a successful implementation of the innovative strategy or concept.

We’ll also ask for any additional insights or comments related to the nominee’s qualifications for receiving a Retail Innovators award.
